Job summary

Greater Nevada Credit Union's Spanish Springs Branch in Sparks, NV is seeking a Teller to serve as the face of the credit union, handling a variety of financial transactions and providing personalized service. You will promote products, build member relationships, and ensure accurate, secure operations in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes accuracy, friendly communication, and compliance with policies; prior cash handling and customer service experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of customer service experience in a customer-facing environment (retail, hospitality, financial services, or similar)
• 6+ months cash handling experience
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn systems
• Strong attention to detail and customer service skills

Responsibilities

• Greet members and provide friendly, professional service.
• Process financial transactions accurately: deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments.
• Balance cash drawers and maintain proper cash levels.
• Educate members on GNCU products and services; identify cross-sell opportunities.
• Adhere to regulatory requirements and internal policies to protect member confidentiality and prevent fraud.
