Job summary

The Greater Philadelphia YMCA in Royersford, PA is seeking a proactive Member Services Supervisor to lead front desk operations, recruit and train staff, and promote a culture of outstanding member service. You will collaborate with volunteers, employees and board members to deliver friendly, efficient service and support the YMCA mission.

This role focuses on creating a welcoming environment, coordinating desk operations, guiding member programs, and contributing to staff development,

Qualifications

• College degree in related field with 1+ years of supervising and in a sales environment.
• Excellent written and oral communication, organizational, record keeping, and computer skills.
• Ability to work with volunteers, employees, board members and members.
• Ability to operate all office equipment.
• Exhibit strong leadership and a passion for member service.

Responsibilities

• Assist with recruiting, hiring, training, scheduling and evaluation of staff.
• Build a committed staff team reflecting the YMCA's mission and values.
• Assist with staff trainings and orientations.
• Contribute to service improvement through staff recognition and retention programs.
• Ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
• Assist with creating a member-centered work culture.
• Coordinate desk operations, tours, communications and member services.
• Provide back-up for front desk staff and lead desk staff meetings.
• Administer payroll and accounts payable for the department.
• Manage front desk/registration system and lobby area cleanliness.
