Job summary

The YMCA in Linden Oaks, NC is seeking a friendly Member Services Representative to welcome members, respond to inquiries, and promote memberships and programs. You will update member accounts, register participants, and maintain a clean, organized lobby with a high level of detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities include building relationships, resolving concerns, checking visits in Daxko, and attending meetings and certifications. Flexibility for evenings and some weekends is required.

Qualifications

• Prior customer service or sales experience preferred.
• Knowledge of computers and POS systems.
• Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• First Aid, CPR PRO and AED within 90 days of hire.
• Flexible schedule including evenings and some weekends.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer service to members and guests in person and on the phone.
• Maintain a professional attitude and appearance in the facility.
• Provide guided tours, sell memberships, update accounts and register for programs.
• Build relationships and help members connect with one another.
• Handle and resolve membership concerns and report unresolved issues.
• Monitor the facility and perform light cleaning as needed.
• Check member visits in Daxko and ensure memberships are valid.
• Attend staff meetings and certifications; audit membership files.
• Maintain a clean working environment; perform other duties as assigned.
