NYM Federal Credit Union is looking for a friendly Member Services Representative to join our team in Brooklyn, NY. You will greet members, assist with inquiries, and process transactions with care to deliver a welcoming, community-focused banking experience.

Required are tellering or member services experience, strong communication, data entry accuracy, and a member-first attitude. You will educate members on products and open new accounts while maintaining compliance and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Experience in tellering or member services in a financial institution.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a member-first attitude.
• Basic knowledge of banking products, services, and regulations.
• Proficiency in data entry and financial software systems.
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and balance drawer.
• Detail-oriented, dependable, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent (associate's/bachelor's optional).

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist members in-person, by phone, and digitally with inquiries and transactions.
• Process deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and transfers accurately.
• Open new member accounts including checking, savings, and certificates.
• Educate members on products and services to meet financial goals.
• Resolve member concerns with professionalism and a solutions-oriented approach.
• Maintain compliance with federal regulations and internal policies.
• Support branch operations and collaborate to ensure a seamless member experience.
