Job summary

Planstin Administration in St. George, Utah seeks a Member Services Representative to assist members, providers and groups with eligibility and benefits inquiries, educating on maximizing benefits, and manual enrollment when needed.

Based in our St. George office, you'll handle calls and emails, coordinate ID card requests, and support data clean-up and compliance tasks as part of a growing benefits administration team.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to speak English and Spanish fluently is highly preferred.
• Experience in a customer service role on the phone queue.
• Strong verbal and written communication with active listening.
• Proficient with MS Office and able to learn new software.

Responsibilities

• Handle client questions by phone and email with no script.
• Provide eligibility and benefits information to providers.
• Enroll new members manually as needed.
• Coordinate with Fulfillment Team to issue ID cards.
• Assist with data clean-up and compliance tasks.

About the role

TheMember Services Representative willtake incoming calls and emails fromgroup contacts, members,medical providers,andaffiliatesto answer any questions they have related to the member's eligibility & benefits. The Member Services Representatives are primarily responsible for educating members on how to maximize the use of their benefits. This position is based in our St. George office.

What you'll do

• Handling client's questions over the phone and via email. Questions vary greatly, and there is no script. Personal training is provided, and new team members usually start taking calls between 1-2 weeks of being hired.
• Providing eligibility and benefits to providers offices
• Enrolling new members and clients manually as needed
• Facilitating requests to the Fulfillment Team to ensure new and renewing member receives an ID card
• Ad-hoc help with data clean-up in our system, and other compliance related tasks

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Ability to speak English and Spanish fluently is highly preferred!
• Experience in a customer service role, specifically working on a phone que.
• Verbal and written communication skills including active listening
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Teams, Outlook, Word, and SharePoint)
• Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn new software
