Job summary

WESTconsin Credit Union is seeking a Full-Time Member Services Representative to join our Prescott office. You will welcome members, open new accounts, and guide them through our products and services after extensive training.

Responsibilities include evaluating member needs, providing accurate service, and resolving questions or issues with a friendly, professional approach. A Saturday schedule is required in this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven customer service experience.
• Basic computer use, data entry and typing.
• Positive attitude, professional image and self-motivation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work a full-time schedule including Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Open new share accounts (savings, checking, money market, certificates, etc.).
• Assess member needs by asking questions and listening to refer to products/services.
• Represent the Credit Union to members in a friendly, professional manner.
• Provide prompt, confidential, and accurate service in processing transactions.
• Respond to member requests, problems, and complaints, directing to the appropriate person as needed.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Open new share accounts (savings, checking, money market, certificate, commercial, organizational, and benefit accounts like individual retirement and health savings accounts, trust accounts, estate, custodial, and guardianship accounts)
• Evaluate member needs by asking appropriate questions and listening carefullyto refer members to appropriate products and services
• Represent the Credit Union to members in a friendly, positive, and professional manner
• Provide prompt, efficient, confidential, and accurate service in the processing of transactions
• Respond to members' requests, problems, and complaints, and/or direct them to proper person for assistance and resolution

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proven track record in customer service
• Proficiency in basic computer, data entry, and typing skills
• A positive attitude, professional image, and self-motivation are essential
• Excellentverbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work a flexible, full-time schedule to include a Saturday rotation
