Job summary

WESTconsin Credit Union is seeking a friendly, professional Teller to serve members with accuracy and discretion. You will handle Teller transactions, open various share accounts, and educate members on savings, loans, and other products.

Ideal candidates bring a proven customer-service background, strong communication skills, and a positive, self-motivated attitude. This role requires rotating Saturday shifts and a commitment to community-focused service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven track record in customer service.
• Proficiency in basic computer, data entry and typing skills.
• A positive attitude, professional image, and self-motivation are essential.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
• This includes an every other Saturday rotation.

Responsibilities

• Represent the Credit Union to members in a friendly, positive, and professional manner.
• Provide prompt, efficient, confidential, and accurate service in the processing of Teller transactions.
• Open new share accounts (savings, checking, money market, certificate, commercial, organizational, and benefit accounts, individual retirement, health savings accounts, trust accounts, estate, custodial, and guardianship accounts).
• Provide savings, loan, and other product features, benefits, and information.
• Respond to members' requests, problems, and complaints, and/or direct them to proper person for assistance and resolution.
• Learn to recognize member's needs for services, and presents and refers them appropriately.
