Job summary

Planet Fitness is seeking a friendly Member Services Representative in the Cayce, SC area to deliver a superior member experience. You will greet members and guests, assist with check-ins, and promote a welcoming, Judgement Free Zone® environment across the club floor.

Daily duties include handling sign-ups, inquiries, and tours for prospective members, processing memberships, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting management with guest relations.

Qualifications

• Customer service background preferred.
• Basic computer proficiency required.
• A passion for fitness and health.
• Upbeat and positive attitude.
• Punctuality and reliability is a must.
• Exceptional customer service skills; interact professionally with members and coworkers.
• Strong listening, empathy and problem-solving abilities.
• Diplomacy in all interactions.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Greet members/guests and assist with questions during check-in.
• Promote the Judgement Free Zone® and support members on the club floor.
• Resolve member concerns and escalate to a Manager when needed.
• Answer phones and assist callers with inquiries.
• Handle membership sign-ups, updates, cancellations and transfers.
• Conduct tours for prospective members and assess needs.
• Execute retail transactions and drive sales goals.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of equipment and areas.
• Report maintenance or safety issues promptly.
