Job summary

Self-Help Services Corp seeks a friendly, customer-focused team member to support daily branch operations in Brevard, NC. You will handle deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and new accounts while delivering exceptional service to members.

Preferred bilingual English/Spanish speakers with at least one year in a financial or customer service setting. Flexibility for evenings/weekends and travel to cover branches may be required.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required.
• Minimum one year experience in financial institution or other customer service industry preferred.
• Prior cash handling and customer service responsibilities preferred.
• Preference for working in organizations that place priority on teamwork and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Identify member needs and initiate conversations.
• Maintain member accounts with excellent service.
• Process deposits, loan payments, payrolls, and transfers.
• Disburse cash and check withdrawals accurately.
• Open new accounts and ensure accuracy/compliance.
• Promote credit union products and services.
• Respond to member inquiries about accounts.
