Job summary

Self-Help is seeking a Member Service Representative in Jacksonville, FL to initiate conversations, assess member needs, and provide excellent service while maintaining account relationships.

You will process deposits and payments, open accounts, handle cash, transfers, and disclosures while promoting loan and deposit products and ensuring compliance with security procedures and regulatory guidelines. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish highly preferred but not required.
• At least 1 year experience in financial institution or customer service preferred.
• Prior cash handling and customer service responsibilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and lead conversations to identify and assess member needs.
• Maintain and enhance member account relationships by providing excellent service.
• Process share deposits, loan payments, manual payrolls, and transfers.
• Disburse cash and check withdrawals and open new membership accounts.
• Promote credit union products and services and refer to loan departments.
• Perform outbound calls to members as needed.
• Adhere to Bank Secrecy Act and AML rules and protect against fraud.
