Job summary

Capital Credit Union in Wisconsin is seeking a member service professional to build financial relationships with members through in-person and phone interactions, promoting consumer lending and new accounts. You will educate members on Home Banking and E-Services, and maintain accounts with accuracy and compliance.

The role may involve teller duties and assisting in branch openings/closures, with opportunities to train new staff and support branch operations while upholding service standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and comprehend detailed and technical instructions.
• Ability to pass a federal criminal background check and federal SAFE Act registry.
• Ability to operate a computer terminal, word processing, email, and basic office equipment.
• Knowledge of banking products, services, and procedures from on-the-job experience.

Responsibilities

• Build financial relationships with members using a member advocacy approach.
• Educate members about Home Banking, E-Services and other products.
• Promote Credit Union products and services tailored to member needs.
• Maintain and follow up on accounts in the computer system.
• Explain eligibility requirements for accounts and loans to members.
• Answer member and staff questions about products and information.
• Assist in opening/closing branch and training new employees.
