Job summary

Buckeye Valley Family YMCA in Pataskala, Ohio, is seeking a friendly, organized Front Desk Member Services Associate to deliver outstanding service to members, guests and program participants. You will enroll new members, process renewals and register participants, while maintaining accurate records at the service desk.

This role requires knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets and databases, experience with a POS system, and the ability to reconcile cash daily.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and/or at least two years of related experience.
• Experience working with children and diverse populations.
• CPR, First Aid, AED and O2 certifications must be obtained within 90 days.
• Must keep certifications current throughout employment.

Responsibilities

• Enroll new members, process renewals and register program participants.
• Provide excellent customer service at the member service desk.
• Enter registrations into the point of sale system accurately.
• Reconcile daily cash drawer with receipts.
• Maintain a clean and organized service desk and assist with mail distribution.
• Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to YMCA policies on child protection.
