Job summary

AAA is seeking a Branch Specialist to greet members and assess service needs. In locations with DMV license services, you will process registrations and related transactions per state rules, while delivering high-quality customer service.

The role also covers preparing travel materials, booking hotels/cars, promoting memberships, processing payments, issuing passport photos, Travel Money transactions, and cash handling. Notary duties may be required; cross-selling is encouraged.

Qualifications

• High School GED required.
• 1-3 years Branch Specialist 1 and/or 2 or related experience required.
• Basic computer literacy and data input skills.
• Ability to operate basic office equipment and perform basic accounting duties.
• Ability to work quickly and handle multiple tasks daily.
• Prior experience using State DMV licensing system.
• As required, obtains and maintains valid notary license.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist members by phone or in person, determine service needed.
• In DMV locations, process registrations and transactions per state procedures.
• Prepare TripTiks, maps, and travel-related materials.
• Assist with hotel/car reservations and sell memberships.
• Process membership and insurance payments, upgrade renewals.
• Issue passport photos and IDPs; handle Travel Money transactions.
• Balance cash drawer and prepare daily deposits.
• Perform notary services as required and identify cross-sell opportunities.
