Job summary

SECU in Wendell, NC seeks a Member Services Representative to assist members with account openings, maintenance, cash handling, and general questions across in-person, phone, and digital channels.

You will educate members on SECU products, perform notary requests, manage safe deposits and routine transactions, balance cash drawers, and participate in community events. Professional conduct, confidentiality, and punctuality are required.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• Excellent communication and listening skills.
• Ability to balance cash drawer and handle transactions.
• Minimum 2 years of SECU or related experience.
• Completion of required training within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Open and maintain accounts for new members.
• Process tax-advantaged accounts and wire transfers.
• Provide Notary Public services as requested.
• Assist with cash handling and drive‑through operations.
• Educate members on SECU products and services.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with policies.
