Job summary

Teachers Credit Union in Oklahoma City, OK is seeking a passionate Member Service Officer to be the face of the credit union, building meaningful relationships with members and helping them reach their financial goals.

You will handle account inquiries, open and maintain accounts, process loan applications, and identify member needs while delivering exceptional service in a fast-paced, member-facing environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in banking, credit unions, or financial services preferred.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
• Knowledge of loans, deposits, and member accounts.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, member-facing environment.
• Proficiency with financial software and basic computer applications.
• High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional member service for account inquiries and transactions.
• Open and maintain member accounts including checking, savings, and certificate accounts.
• Process loan applications and guide members through lending.
• Identify member needs and recommend credit union products and services.
• Handle member concerns and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Ensure compliance with credit union policies, procedures, and federal regulations.
• Support branch operations including teller transactions and daily balancing.
