Qualifications

• Experience handling payments and cashiering.

Responsibilities

• Provide front-line customer service in person and by telephone, directing guests to appropriate staff.
• Receive and process all forms of payment and prepare cash deposits with Accounting.
• Explain and apply department policies and billing procedures to customers.
• Maintain knowledge of collections, payment arrangements, and disconnects for non-payment.
• Fill out forms, determine charges for service requests, collect deposits, and issue service orders.
• Handle customer inquiries with courtesy and refer issues to appropriate personnel.
• Perform monthly billings and assist with month-end processes and billing accuracy.
• Learn rate schedules and answer billing questions related to usage and cost.
• Prepare internal reports on billing and customer accounts.
• Assist with related tasks such as answering phones, refunds, and outreach.
