Job summary

Hoosier Energy is seeking a Billing/Data Analytics Specialist to manage monthly member billings, ensure accuracy, and support billing software systems. You will work with the Billing team on data collection, tariffs, contracts, and policy implementation, while maintaining backup capabilities.

The role requires strong communication, data analysis, and project management skills, with experience in metering/telemetry concepts and billing environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
• Alternatively, 10+ years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• 5 years of hands-on experience with database interaction and data analytics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops, produces and distributes member system monthly billings with high quality and accuracy.
• Performs monthly data collection and supports data software/hardware maintenance.
• Makes use of MV-WEB, MV90, MV-PBS and billing data to support reporting and analysis.
• Provides technical and analytical support related to billing questions and data analysis.
• Assists members with billing questions, training, and participates in committees.
