Job summary

Great NorthWest Federal Credit Union is seeking a front-line Member Service Associate to handle routine transactions and deliver outstanding service. You will assist members with deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, and check cashing while maintaining accurate cash handling and adherence to policies.

The role requires effective communication, strong math skills, and the ability to work well under pressure in a busy branch environment.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent is typical.
• Effective communication and public interaction in stressful environments are required.
• Experience in sales, customer/member service, cash handling, and math aptitude is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide an outstanding level of member service and satisfaction.
• Perform routine member transactions (deposits, withdrawals, cash advances, loan payments, transfers, check cashing).
• Maintain an accurate cash drawer and balance it timely.
• Process stop payments on share drafts and ACH deposits.
• Provide members with account status and loan payoff information.
• Follow credit union policies and compliance (BSA/AML/OFAC).
• Respond to member requests or refer to the proper department as needed.
• Participate in training and learning through online courses.
