Job summary

Empower Federal Credit Union is seeking a friendly Teller to serve as the frontline representative, handling deposits, withdrawals and service requests with accuracy. You will build member relationships, promote products, and collaborate with the team to meet branch goals.

The role requires 1–3 years in banking or customer service, a high school diploma, and a commitment to compliance and member service. Expect flexible hours, including Saturdays, at multiple branch locations as needed.

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years of related experience in banking, customer service, sales, or cash handling.
• A high school diploma or GED is required.

Responsibilities

• Process deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments with accuracy.
• Cross-sell products to members and educate them about services.
• Lead by example and foster teamwork and collaboration.
• Maintain accurate cash handling and balancing.
• Adhere to policies, dual control, and audit procedures.
• Be flexible with hours and branch locations as needed.
