Job summary

Empower FCU is seeking a Teller to be the frontline representative, handling member transactions with accuracy and friendly service. You will promote Credit Union products and build strong relationships while adhering to compliance standards.

The role involves processing deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments, with opportunities to educate members about services and cross-sell where appropriate. Flexible hours, including Saturdays, at multiple branches, are required.

Qualifications

1–3 years of related experience in banking, customer service, sales, or cash handling.
A high school diploma or GED is required.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills essential for customer service.

Responsibilities

Process member transactions including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments with accuracy.
Maintain cash drawer and balance accurately according to policies.
Educate members about Credit Union products and services; cross-sell when appropriate.
Lead by example and foster teamwork and collaboration.
Adhere to all policies, procedures and compliance standards; participate in training and meetings.
Available to work flexible hours, including Saturdays, at various branch locations.
