Job summary

Webster First Federal Credit Union in Worcester, MA is seeking a Member Service Associate – Bank Teller to deliver exceptional member experiences on-site. You will balance cash drawers, process transactions, and promote credit union products.

The role includes assisting with branch operations, handling various account requests, and maintaining a professional front-line presence while upholding compliance and privacy standards. It is a full-time, fully benefitted position with occasional overtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree or certification in a relevant field preferred.
• Minimum of three years of experience in a customer service role, including handling cash transactions.
• Proficient in computer/software programs, including Microsoft Office.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret written and oral instruction.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day‑to‑day branch operating policies, procedures, opening and closing, balancing drawers, and assisting members.
• Work as a teller on the frontline, assisting members with various account‑related requests and services.
• Present a positive, professional attitude and maintain a neat, orderly work area at all times.
• Cross-sell credit union products and services while complying with disclosure requirements and privacy policies.
• Scan and verify branch checks through Check 21 system.
• Promote BSA compliance and security of member information.
