Job summary

Qualifications

Minimum 6 months cash handling experience in retail or banking.
Sales and member service orientation required.
Strong math and basic balancing skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

Greet and welcome members and process teller transactions accurately and efficiently.
Receive share drafts and cash for deposits, perform check cashing and transfers, and enter transactions correctly.
Count cash and balance drawer at end of shift, researching discrepancies as needed.
Assist with mail or email transactions when available.
Maintain knowledge of all credit union products and related policies.
Promote and cross-sell loans, cards, checking, and online banking.
Ensure teller station is stocked with forms and supplies.
Balance cash drawer and report outages to management.
Maintain dependable attendance and timeliness.
Maintain professional dress and work environment.
Perform other duties as needed to meet organizational requirements.
