Job summary

Hawaii Central Federal Credit Union seeks a member-focused associate to support sales efforts and perform member transactions across share and loan products.

You will counsel members, open new accounts, process loans, and ensure accurate cash handling in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of CIP and security procedures is essential, with strong communication and problem-solving skills valued.

Qualifications

• Prior cash handling and customer service experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic PC literacy required.
• Analytical and financial skills beneficial.
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
• Lift up to 30 lbs occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Promote credit union products based on member needs and interview outcomes.
• Process transactions and service requests accurately and efficiently.
• Open new accounts, assist with wire transfers and disputes.
• Process loan applications and documentation; assist with loan status inquiries.
• Ensure CIP compliance and maintain security procedures.
• Provide cross-selling of services and support for member education.
• Represent HCFCU at community events as appropriate.
