Job summary

Fortera Credit Union in Nashville, TN is seeking a versatile Teller/Relationship Associate to perform member transactions, originate loan and new accounts, and deliver outstanding service with a consultative approach. You will generate new business from existing and potential members while meeting sales and service goals.

The role includes opening/closing accounts, handling transfers and payments, and using CRM to track leads.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Minimum of six months’ experience in Retail Sales.
• Knowledge of financial services industry preferred.
• Consumer lending experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Teller and Relationship Manager operations and procedures preferred.

Responsibilities

• Meet sales and service goals and maintain performance standards.
• Actively cross-sell Credit Union products and refer to partners as needed.
• Open and close accounts, process transactions, and handle payroll deductions.
• Answer questions, resolve member issues, and maintain accurate records.
• Perform drive-up, night drop, ATM and related teller duties.
• Maintain privacy and professional conduct in all member interactions.
