Job summary

FIRST SERVICE CREDIT UNION is seeking a front-line member service professional to deliver excellent service and maintain a positive, efficient atmosphere. You will handle deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and account maintenance while promoting products based on member needs.

Requires up to six months in banking or cash handling, a high school diploma or GED, and strong interpersonal skills. Some branches may require weekend shifts or travel for coverage.

Qualifications

• Experience: Up to six months in banking or cash handling.
• Education: High school diploma or GED, knowledge of BSA/AML regulations.
• Interpersonal skills: courtesy, tact and diplomacy are essential.
• Other: customer service, detail-oriented and able to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Handle member transactions in person, by mail, or by phone (deposits, withdrawals, transfers, cash advances).
• Issue checks and prepaid cards; balance cash drawer and negotiables.
• Perform member account maintenance and openings.
• Answer inquiries by phone and forward messages as needed.
• Promote credit union products based on member needs; assist branch as needed.
• Travel to other branches for back-up and work Saturdays when required.
