Job summary

FIRST SERVICE CREDIT UNION is seeking a customer-focused member services professional in Houston to deliver high-quality service and accurate transactions. The ideal candidate has up to six months of banking or cash handling experience, a high school diploma or GED, and strong interpersonal skills to build trust with members.

Qualifications

• Experience with handling member transactions and cash is preferred.
• Knowledge of banking products and services is beneficial.
• Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail are essential.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently process member transactions in person, by mail, or by phone, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, cash advances, and currency exchanges.
• Balance daily work, cash drawer, and negotiables; assist with branch balancing as needed.
• Perform member account maintenance and data changes, including openings and updates.
• Recommend banking products and services based on member needs and promote teamwork.
• Be available to travel to branch locations for coverage and work Saturdays when required.
