Job summary

Planet Fitness is seeking a friendly and energetic Member Services Representative to deliver exceptional customer service to members, guests, and prospective members in a Judgement Free Zone environment.

Responsibilities include greeting members, assisting with sign-ups and questions, promoting the club, and maintaining a clean, safe facility. Weekends and flexible hours may be required; baseline computer skills are expected.

Qualifications

• Customer service background preferred.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• A passion for fitness and health.
• Upbeat and positive attitude!
• Punctuality and reliability is a must.
• Exceptional customer service skills; able to interact in a positive and professional way with members and co-workers, exceeding the member’s expectations.
• Strong listener with the ability to empathize and problem solve.
• Demonstrate diplomacy in all interactions while using appropriate behavior and language.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Greet members/guests as they enter and exit the club; assisting them with any questions or concerns as they check in.
• Promote our Judgement Free Zone® by connecting with members on the club floor and supporting their fitness journeys.
• Resolve member concerns and elevate to a Manager as needed.
• Answer phones in a friendly manner and assist callers with inquiries.
• Perform membership related functions such as sign-ups, updates, cancellations, and transfers.
• Conduct tours for prospective members and assess their needs.
• Execute retail transactions and support sales goals.
• Regularly clean and sanitize all exercise equipment and spa amenities; maintain cleanliness of restrooms.
• Address maintenance issues and safety concerns with urgency.
