BR DIST TELCO FCU in Baton Rouge, LA is seeking a friendly, customer-focused Contact Center Representative to join our full-time team. You will assist members via phone, email, and in-branch channels, resolve questions, and promote credit union products and self-service options.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years' related experience, a high school diploma or GED, and strong communication skills. Hours are 7:45AM–4:30PM, Monday–Friday, with a generous benefits package and a welcoming, member-first

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of similar or related experience.
• High school education or GED.
• Hours are 7:45AM - 4:30PM, Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

• Assists members and potential members with their requests through all channels and handles requests efficiently.
• Maintains knowledge of credit union products and services and online/mobile services.
• Identifies opportunities to offer additional credit union products and promotions and generates referrals.
• Resolves and de-escalates problems by clarifying issues, researching solutions, and escalating when needed.
• Adheres to First Contact Resolution standards through all channels.
• Ensures records are maintained and required reports are prepared.
• Demonstrates the Credit Union’s Core Values (Service, Solutions, Adaptability, Respect and Accountability).
