Maine State CU in Waterville is hiring a Member Experience Specialist. This full-time role (Mon-Fri) offers $18–$20 hourly and a strong emphasis on service, relationships, and helping members thrive.

You will process transactions, educate members on products, open accounts, and support community outreach while maintaining security and accuracy in a busy branch environment.

Responsibilities

As the first point of contact for our members, you’ll play a key role in creating positive experiences while helping members achieve their financial goals. You’ll process transactions, build meaningful relationships, identify opportunities to improve members’ financial well-being, and contribute to a culture focused on service, trust, and community.

This is a full-time,Monday through Fridayposition with no weekend hours, offering an excellent work-life balance while providing the opportunity to build meaningful relationships and make a positive impact on our members’ financial well-being.

What You’ll Do:

• Deliver outstanding member service with every interaction
• Process member transactions, including:
  • Deposits
  • Withdrawals
  • Transfers

• Educate members on products and services that meet their financial needs
• Open accounts and assist members with financial solutions

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For:

• High school diploma or GED
• 6-12 months of cash handling, customer service, retail banking, or related experience
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Strong problem-solving skills and good judgment
• Comfortable using computers and learning financial software systems
• Commitment to maintaining member confidentiality and security
