Job summary

Broadview FCU is seeking a friendly Member Service Associate to welcome members, handle transactions, and deepen relationships across our Northwest Region, including Niskayuna. You will promote digital options, detect potential fraud, and assist with cross-selling initiatives while delivering exceptional service.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, excellent communication, and the ability to lift 10 pounds and stay on your feet.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to lift at least 10 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Flexibility to work at any location as needed.
• Experience in customer service is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcome members and visitors and deliver professional service.
• Accurately process financial service transactions while maintaining a cash drawer.
• Detect and report fraud or irregular activities.
• Build member relationships by engaging in conversations and making recommendations.
• Respond to general member inquiries related to products, lending, etc.
• Promote self-service resources and digital channels.
• Participate in cross-selling campaigns and events.
• Seek opportunities for professional growth through coaching and training.
