Job summary

Broadview Federal Credit Union is seeking a friendly and proactive Member Service Associate to greet members and visitors, deliver professional service, and support branch operations. You will process transactions, maintain accuracy in cash handling, and protect members by spotting potential fraud indicators.

You will engage with members to deepen relationships, answer questions about products and services, and guide them to digital self-service options.

Qualifications

High School Diploma (or GED) and customer service experience preferred.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to lift at least 10 pounds and stand for long periods.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

Provide outstanding member service in a professional and friendly manner to all members and visitors.
Accurately process financial transactions and maintain a cash drawer.
Act as a first line of defense in detecting and reporting fraud or irregular activities.
Advocate and build member relationships by asking questions and making recommendations.
Respond to general member inquiries related to products/services and lending.
Problem-solve and resolve member issues promptly.
Promote awareness of self-service resources and digital channels.
Participate in cross-selling initiatives and campaigns.
Seek development opportunities through coaching, shadowing and training.
Achieve goals and compliance with policies and regulations.
