Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• Cash handling or retail service experience required; financial services preferred.
• Ability to provide exceptional service.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Accuracy with numerical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Willingness to work branch needs and adapt to varying workflows.

Responsibilities

• Process member transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, loan payments, transfers, cashier’s checks, cash advances, stop payments, and wire transfers.
• Process non-member transactions through CO-OP Shared Branching network.
• Adhere to security, transaction verification, cash limits, cash handling, and check cashing guidelines; comply with BSA and OFAC regulations.
• Balance cash and daily transactions; investigate and resolve out-of-balance conditions.
• Open/close memberships/accounts; renegotiate Certificates of Deposit/IRAs; complete forms in database.
• Handle inquiries via telephone, facsimile, email, and mail; process night depository and mail-in transactions.
• Present and explain products/services, educate members on options, and cross-sell as appropriate.
• Assist with branch opening/closing; support vault balancing and auditing; ensure records are complete.
