Job summary

Excel Fitness in Knightdale, NC seeks a Team Player to maintain a clean gym, ensure safety, and provide exceptional member service. You will assist members, operate POS, audit cash and inventory, and help with promotions while upholding Excel standards.

The role supports both full-time and part-time shifts on-site, requiring CPR/AED training and strong teamwork. Training and certifications are provided as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• CPR Certification and AED Certification are required before working alone.
• Comfortable standing for long periods.
• Great communication skills with internal and external customers.
• Team-oriented, motivated, and well-organized.
• Ability to think critically and evaluate solutions to problems proactively.

Responsibilities

• Maintain club cleanliness and atmosphere.
• Operate and assist members with equipment and amenities.
• Input and update member information at POS.
• Audit cash drawers and inventory.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and state/federal laws.
• Assist GM/AM with membership promotions and training.
• Assist at community events and outreach activities.
