Job summary

Responsibilities include cash handling, opening accounts, and assisting with loans, all while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• Minimum two plus years in a banker role or customer relationship role preferred, plus 1 year as MSS II or teller at Golden 1 or another financial institution.

Responsibilities

• Process and audit financial transactions including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, payments and general ledger entries while maintaining a cash drawer.
• Provide Golden 1 services to members, including cashier’s checks, money orders, wire transfers and other transactions.
• Assess members’ needs while processing transactions and identify opportunities to offer Golden 1 products or services.
• Document opportunities in EnAct system and refer to appropriate departments.
• Maintain confidentiality of all member and credit union information.
• Open deposit and specialty accounts and assist with loans and related services.
