Job summary

Golden 1 Credit Union seeks a Member Service Specialist II to provide outstanding service and processing of monetary transactions at the branch. You will balance daily transactions, answer member questions, and guide clients to suitable Golden 1 products and services.

You will engage with members to understand financial goals, document needs in EnAct, and support team duties including opening deposit and specialty accounts. This role emphasizes accuracy, confidentiality and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• Minimum 1+ year of cash handling / service experience; 6+ months as MSS I or teller preferred.
• Fosters a positive, respectful, punctual and results‑oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

• Process and audit deposits, withdrawals, transfers, payments and general ledger entries within cash drawer.
• Provide Golden 1 services including cashier's checks, money orders, wire transfers and debit card issuance.
• Assess member needs while processing transactions and document opportunities in EnAct.
• Identify and refer opportunities to Golden 1 products and services to members.
• Report fraudulent activity to management per procedures to prevent loss.
• Assist ATM and Teller Cash Dispenser operations and maintenance as needed.
• Mentor MSSIs and support opening/closing responsibilities.
