Job summary

Golden 1 Credit Union is seeking a Member Service Specialist to join the Branch Channel Delivery team in California. You will handle member transactions, open accounts, and promote Golden 1 products with accuracy and care.

The role requires cash handling, strong communication, and a customer-first mindset. The position is non-exempt and on-site at our Paso Robles branch, with opportunities to grow within the credit union's services.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• Minimum two plus years of prior banker or customer relationship experience preferred.
• 1 year as MSSII or teller role at Golden 1 or another financial institution preferred.

Responsibilities

• Processes and audits financial transactions with a cash drawer.
• Provides Golden 1 services including cashier’s checks, money orders, wire transfers, and related transactions.
• Assesses member needs and documents opportunities in EnAct.
• Identifies and reports fraudulent activity to management and Financial Investigations.
• Assists in ATM and Teller Cash Dispenser operations.
• Opens deposit and specialty accounts and refers lending needs to appropriate partners.
