Job summary

Broadview Federal Credit Union in Albany, NY seeks a friendly Member Service Associate to welcome members, handle transactions, and deepen relationships at the South Pearl Street Branch while supporting other branches in the Capital Central Region. You will process transactions, detect fraud, promote digital channels, participate in cross-selling, and uphold compliance.

A HS diploma and strong communication skills are required; bilingual applicants are encouraged; starting pay is $20–$21 per

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or GED.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Willingness to work at any location as business needs dictate.
• Ability to lift at least 10 pounds and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding member service in a professional and friendly manner.
• Process financial service transactions with accuracy and maintain a cash drawer.
• Detect and report fraud or irregular activities as first line of defense.
• Build member relationships by asking questions and recommending solutions.
• Respond to general member inquiries about products/services and lending.
• Resolve member issues promptly and ensure satisfaction.
• Promote self-service resources and digital channel offerings.
• Participate in cross-selling campaigns and events.
• Seek development opportunities through coaching and training.
