Job summary

GreenState Credit Union in Addison, IL is seeking a Member Service Associate to grow member relationships and deliver personalized service, balancing cash and processing transactions while adhering to policies. The role emphasizes sales, confidentiality, teamwork, and community involvement, with weekly outbound calls and opportunities to refer members to other departments to meet financial needs.

Hours are Mon-Fri 8:15am-5:15pm, Sat 8:45am-12:15pm; pay range $24.02-$28.08 per hour plus

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of MSR or related banking experience.
• High energy with strong sales and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritize, manage time, and meet deadlines.
• Accurate, detail-oriented, with proficient computer skills.
• Bondable and compliant with SAFE Act; able to work overtime as needed.
• Excellent customer service and relationship-building abilities.

Responsibilities

• Balance cash drawer daily and handle cash/check transactions.
• Build member relationships and identify opportunities for additional products.
• Conduct weekly outbound calls to members.
• Maintain confidentiality of member information.
• Refer members to specialized departments when needed.
• Participate in promotions and team goals.
