Job summary

Mountain America Credit Union in Phoenix, AZ, is seeking a Part-Time Member Service Representative at the McDowell Branch. The role requires flexibility—weekdays and Saturdays—and offers starting pay of $17.50 per hour with potential increases and incentives.

Bilingual abilities in English and Spanish are a plus, along with a comprehensive benefits package. The MSR will help members with deposits, account openings, and cross-selling financial products, while maintaining accuracy in cash handling

Qualifications

• Six months of customer service experience required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional member service by assessing needs and advising on transactions.
• Open new accounts and service existing accounts.
• Explain products and services to meet member needs.
• Cross-sell MACU products and services.
• Maintain cash drawer and process transactions.
• Initiate wire transfers, cashier’s checks, and cash advances.
• Open and process IRA transactions, certificates of deposit, and redeem savings bonds.
• Assist with branch security procedures and maintain a neat work area.
• Represent the credit union professionally in dress and actions.
• Respond to communications promptly.
