Job summary

This role requires a high school diploma and at least one year of related experience; cash handling and computer skills are essential. Bilingual abilities are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Previous cash handling experience.
• Previous experience with a credit union highly desirable.
• Multi-lingual capabilities to include Spanish are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome members in a courteous, friendly, professional manner and process transactions accurately.
• Receive deposits and cash, verify amounts, and post to accounts.
• Process withdrawals and loan payments and generate receipts.
• Open and maintain membership accounts and related services.
• Promote and cross-sell other credit union services and electronic channels.
• Assist tellers and maintain knowledge of policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
