Job summary

Pima Federal Credit Union in Tucson, AZ is hiring a full-time Member Service Representative. This role focuses on delivering exceptional member service, processing teller transactions, opening/closing accounts, and helping members with loans and product recommendations.

You will be the face of the credit union, promote financial services, and strive to meet individual and team sales goals while staying current on all products. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of current financial institution experience as Teller or Member Service Representative OR two years of current sales, retail, or customer service experience with cash handling responsibilities.
• Intermediate-level proficiency with computers and software applications, including Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Ability to offer solutions that meet our members' needs.
• Flexibility to travel to other branches on occasion.

Responsibilities

• Processes teller transactions and opens/closes accounts; solves problems and updates member information.
• Conducts loan application interviews, processes loan applications, funds loans, and presents disclosures.
• Steps into the teller line to process banking transactions accurately while maintaining a balanced cash drawer.
• Meets individual and team sales goals and stays up-to-date on credit union products and services.
• Promotes financial services to members and builds rapport to recommend suitable products.
