Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a dedicated team member to support merchandise protection, monitor entrances and exits, and provide superior customer service to members.

The role emphasizes safety, adherence to club policies, and rapid, friendly service. You will work as part of a team to uphold GOLD standards and resolve member concerns while maintaining a positive environment.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
• Basic math skills preferred.
• Ability to use a smart handheld device.
• Must successfully complete required training and certification processes.
• Must be employed with the company for at least 6 months.
• At least 18 years of age in applicable states.

Responsibilities

• Delivers superior member service, greeting and assisting members promptly and professionally.
• Resolves member concerns courteously and escalates issues when necessary.
• Maintains merchandise protection procedures and shrink alert protocols.
• Audits Express Pay, BOPIC, curbside and same-day delivery per procedures.
• Inspects bags/containers leaving the club and monitors member/visitor traffic.
• Ensures safe, positive environment and adheres to Gold Club standards.
