Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club seeks a team member to perform merchandise protection procedures, monitor entrance/exit activity, and provide exceptional service to members. You will follow club policies, protect assets, and work as part of the team to ensure a safe, positive environment for both members and staff.

Responsibilities include auditing procedures, preventing shrink, and responding to alarms while maintaining daily GOLD club standards and fast, friendly service at all touchpoints.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail are required.
• Basic math skills preferred.
• Must be employed with BJ’s Wholesale Club for at least 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Deliver superior member service with a friendly, professional greeting and assistance.
• Audit merchandise protection procedures and shrink alert protocols.
• Inspect bags and monitor entry/exit to ensure policy compliance.
• Respond to EAS alarms and escalate issues to management when needed.
• Maintain high safety standards for members and team members.
