Job summary

Planet Fitness in Charleston, SC is seeking a Front Desk Associate to deliver a superior member experience, check in members, answer questions, promote the Judgement Free Zone.

You will greet, assist with memberships, handle phones, maintain club cleanliness, and escalate concerns to a Manager. Role requires 6–12 months in customer service, 18+, CPR/AED training provided, and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• 6-12 months of experience in a customer service environment is preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Willing to become CPR/AED Certified (Training provided by Planet Fitness).
• Basic computer proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Greet members/guests as they enter and exit the club; assist with questions or concerns at check-in.
• Promote the Judgement Free Zone by engaging with members on the club floor and supporting fitness journeys.
• Resolve member concerns and escalate to a Manager as needed.
• Answer phones in a friendly manner and assist callers with inquiries.
• Handle membership-related tasks: sign-ups, updates, cancellations, and transfers.
• Perform tours and assess member needs; drive retail transactions and sales goals.
