Job summary

STCU is seeking a Member Consultant to deliver unparalleled in-person experiences for current and prospective members at our Spokane Valley locations. You will conduct interviews during origination and maintenance to expand relationships and position STCU as the primary financial partner.

Requirements include a high school diploma and at least two years’ experience in teller/service roles in financial services, with proficiency in MS Office.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum two years' experience in Teller, new accounts or service representative in a financial institution required.
• Proficient knowledge of MS Office programs including Outlook, Word, Excel and Teams.

Responsibilities

• Identify members' needs and expand relationships by reviewing financial positions and recommending products.
• Open and maintain accounts and process transactions with accuracy per policies and procedures.
• Meet branch goals and promote ancillary products and referrals to provide added value for members.
• Respond to member questions and resolve issues to ensure a high level of service.
• Travel to other STCU locations as needed.
