Job summary

STCU, a leading credit union, seeks a Member Consultant to create exceptional in-person experiences for existing and prospective members at our retail locations. You will conduct interviews at origination, assist with account maintenance, and identify opportunities to expand relationships while showcasing STCU as a trusted financial partner.

The role requires high school diploma, at least two years in teller/new accounts/service roles, and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum two years' Teller/new accounts/service experience in a financial institution.
• Proficient knowledge of MS Office programs including Outlook, Word, Excel and Teams.

Responsibilities

• Protect membership data integrity and perform transactions with high accuracy and proper access.
• Originate and expand member relationships by reviewing financial position and recommending products.
• Exceed service expectations by delivering excellent member experiences and resolving issues.
• Demonstrate knowledge of consumer, fiduciary deposit products and accounts types.
• Meet or exceed branch goals and promote ancillary products and referrals.
• Build trust by answering questions and providing effective resolutions.
• Engage in conversations to match products to members' unstated needs.
