Job summary

The YMCA of the Pikes Peak Region in Colorado Springs is seeking a friendly Member Service Consultant to greet members, process memberships, registrations, and cash transactions, and provide accurate information about programs and center policies.

You will work weekends and part-time hours, deliver exceptional service, meet retention goals, and collaborate with center staff to ensure a safe, welcoming environment while upholding YMCA values. Strong communication and confidentiality are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in member management, sales, or recruitment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and maintain records.

Responsibilities

• Process new memberships and program registrations, including cash transactions and updating records.
• Answer questions, provide information, and address complaints about memberships.
• Greet members and assist at front desk; scan membership cards and guide visitors.
• Sell memberships and programs by discussing benefits and using relationship-building tactics.
• Collaborate with center staff to ensure service excellence and timely follow-up.
• Meet and exceed membership satisfaction, sales, and retention goals.
• Uphold safety policies and procedures; model YMCA values; handle multiple priorities.
