Job summary

Pueblo YMCA is seeking a Membership Representative in Pueblo, CO to attract and retain members through outstanding service and meaningful connections. You will promote membership benefits, handle inquiries, and ensure a seamless experience for new and existing members.

The role focuses on processing memberships, tours, and proactive outreach to drive growth and retention while maintaining accurate records and delivering a welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with customer service experience preferred.
• 1-2 years of customer service experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse population.
• Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills.
• Must be proficient with computers.
• CPR certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Process memberships and registrations accurately.
• Engage with prospective members with facility tours and information.
• Drive membership growth and retention through proactive engagement.
• Deliver exceptional customer service via in-person, email, and phone interactions.
• Manage prospective member outreach from tours, inquiries, referrals, and campaigns.
• Implement follow-up systems for tracking and outreach to increase conversions.
• Support membership events and promotions (open houses, drives, campaigns).
• Ensure a clean and welcoming facility and address member concerns.
• Assist with basic maintenance tasks when needed to keep the facility presentable.
