Job summary

The YMCA of the Pikes Peak Region is seeking a high-energy Member Service Consultant to help members engage with programs and the Y culture at our center in Colorado Springs. You will handle registrations, cash transactions, and inquiries while promoting memberships and services.

Collaborate with center staff to deliver exceptional service, drive membership satisfaction and retention, and uphold safety policies in a welcoming, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in member management, sales, or recruitment.
• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations.
• Strong organizational and confidentiality skills.
• Comfort with handling cash and basic transactions.
• Availability to work weekends and some evenings.

Responsibilities

• Accurately process new memberships and program registrations including cash transactions.
• Maintain and update member records and respond to questions or complaints.
• Sell memberships and programs by highlighting benefits of YMCA membership.
• Assist front desk operations and greet members.
• Collaborate with center staff to ensure service excellence and timely follow-up.
• Meet membership satisfaction, sales, and retention goals.
• Follow safety policies to respond to emergencies; model YMCA values.
