Job summary

The YMCA is seeking a member experience representative to enhance member engagement, growth and retention by delivering excellent service to members, guests and program participants. You will greet and assist, conduct tours, and collaborate with wellness staff to ensure a welcoming orientation for new members.

Requirements include 18+ years of age, an associate degree or two years related experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to work evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or two years related experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods and work evenings/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist members, guests and staff in a professional manner.
• Conduct tours, explain benefits and opportunities, and follow up with prospects.
• Coordinate with wellness staff to orient new members and schedule sessions.
• Process new member IDs, guest passes and registrations for services.
• Respond to phone inquiries and address concerns with courtesy and timeliness.
• Assist with annual giving campaigns as directed.
